EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Claude Giguère has 20 years of working experience, including 18 years dedicated to the investment management industry and 10 years solely dedicated to performance measurement and attribution. Claude worked at Financial Models Company (FMC) as Product strategist and Director of the product management team where he spearheaded the development of FMCSYLVAN^TM and provided some of the world’s most advanced solutions related to performance measurement and performance attribution. Claude has been exposed to a myriad of top tiers investment management firms in the world allowing him to develop the expertise to resolve the most complex situations.

Among many achievements, Claude developed a multi-currency Fixed Income Attribution methodology that has received an outstanding acceptance in the market place. Other areas of expertise are GIPS^TM, benchmark construction and customization, multi-currency equity attribution and multi-currency performance across a wide variety of security types such as equity, fixed income, derivatives and currency swaps. Claude has also been involved in sale support, user support and implementation therefore, acquired a vast knowledge of the market’s requirements and realities. In addition, Claude’s experience covers systems design, project planning, requirements analysis, functional specifications, training, quality assurance and testing. Claude interacts very well with all levels of investment management professionals. Claude spoke at many conferences around the world where he shared his expertise with practitioners of the major financial markets.

In addition to his renowned business expertise, Claude possesses a high level of technical skills. Having a bachelor university degree in computer science and having worked almost exclusively in developing technology solutions related to the investment management industry, Claude is fluent in some programming languages such as C#, C++, VBA, SQL and interacts very well with computer science engineers, programmers and systems analysts.
